The India Golf Expo 2015

The fourth annual edition of South Asia’s largest exposition for the business of golf- ‘India Golf Expo 2015 aims to bring focus on the growing potential of the Indian Golf Industry,
The Expo is promoted by the Indian Golf Industry Association (IGIA) and supported by the Indian Golf Union (IGU), Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Ministry of Tourism and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and DLF.


The two day expo comprises of an exhibition featuring products & services and demonstrations by golf’s leading companies involved in the business of design, construction, maintenance and operations of golf courses. On the consumer side, the world’s largest equipment brands and favourite tourism destinations will provide an attraction for walk in golfers. The Expo is attended by real estate developers, golf course owners, green superintendents, club decision makers, golf professionals, distributors, retailers, government authorities and industry executives.


The symposium will feature panel discussions over two days on golf tourism, course maintenance, construction, club operations and marketing. Among the speakers are the President of the IGIA, Aakash Ohri, President of the IGU- Jaydeep Chitlangia, Arthur Yeo- A China Golf expert, James Quilley from Absolute Golf Services, Thailand and Spencer Robinson, Chief Communications Officer, Asian Golf Industry Federation, to name a few.

IGU Turfcare Seminar

The Expo features IGU’s two and half day ‘Turfcare Seminar’ conducted by world renowned turfgrass expert and scientist, Dr. Micah Woods. Dr. Woods brings practical scientific perspective to the management of turfgrass by paying close attention to proper budgeting for maintenance, optimizing expenditure, controlling waste and remaining sustainable. The seminar will provide cutting edge information for all superintendents and club committee members responsible for ensuring smooth fairways for players.

NGAI Teaching Summit

The two day NGAI Teaching Summit features legendary instructor Michael Hebron, one of America’s top 50 instructors as rated by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine, talking about ‘How People Learn’, Donato Di Ponziano – President of the PGA's of Europetalking about the ‘Evolution of Teaching Golf’and Claudine Foong, a fitness expert from the world famous Butch Harmon Academy, among others. The top 50 golf coaches in the country will get together for a unique knowledge building Summit aimed at producing champions in the future.

For avid golfers there is an exhibition by leading golf brands– Taylormade, Callaway, Titleist, Cleveland, Nike, Footjoy and Srixon featuring bargain offers on the latest golf equipment & accessories. Club testing, simulators, chats with top coaches, a putting contest and a giant screen featuring the latest international event will entertain visitors. .

IGIA Dinner

Networking Dinners on both evenings including presentation of the IGIA Lifetime Achievement Awards will provide an opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to transact business in an informal setting.
